however, provide a large selection of quality body jewellery
for after your piercing. Always use a professional and reputable
piercer for best results.

None of our body jewellery is made from Base Metal or "Fashion"
metal. These metals are normally brass, pewter, copper and
numerous others which are then plated with another metal such
as Rhodium. These "Fashion" metals do not offer
long lasting hypoallergenic properties and can break down
easily and cause infection.
The only metals we use in our body jewellery are surgical
steel, sterling silver or Titanium. These are clearly marked
in our product descriptions.

Tungsten
What is tungsten?
Tungsten is a natural element which is (W) on the periodic
table of elements. The W stands for Wolfram, which is the
name of the mineral that tungsten is derived from.
Tungsten is the hardest metal, being nearly 4 times harder
than Titanium. Its hardness is second hardest material on
earth, diamond being the hardest. This is why tungsten can
only be scratched with a Diamond, making it virtually scratch
proof.

What is tungsten carbide?
Tungsten in its purest form is very brittle. A pure tungsten
ring - if dropped - can quite easily shatter. To prevent this
carbon is added.
Is tungsten hypoallergenic?
Tungsten carbide is 100% hypoallergenic and allergy free and
will not produce skin irritation or discoloration. Tungsten
does not react to sunlight, salt water, chlorine or sweat.
